I Was going to say what ^^^^petwabit said which is you can run wheels like that but the offsets have to be very high like with bbs or ccw wheels. The problem with the s2k isn't the width of the wheel but more the offsets..
Wow lots of not quite correct info in here. First off the offset and the width go hand in hand. The narrower the wheel the high the offset you can run and conversely the wider the wheel the higher the offset. A 17x7 +35 is much less aggressive than a 17x10 +35 because offset is measured from the centerline of the wheel so width makes a difference.

Next 11 inch wide in the back is not a decrease in performance. As many of the track guys have shown even with stock power the more grip you can have they faster you can be. Clearly you don't want 40lb wheels or crap tires but this is generally true and 11 inch wide is a good setup if you can find the right wheels and get them to fit.

As for your tire choice you really should be running something like a 285 or even 295 for an 11 inch wide wheel. This will have little not no stretch. Assuming the wheels you are looking at don't require stretched tires to fit go wider as they will fit the wheel.
100% Agree w/ Manga_Spawn

We offer CCW wheels and have customers with 11" rear on 285/30 or 295/30 with no over fender and little to no fender stretch. In fact one of our Partners Got Second at WTA in their Class, Fastest RWD with our 18x11" on the Rear on 295/30/18"

The tire will weigh a bit more, but the wheel weighs about the same as stock

I have road coursed my 10"/255-11.5"/295 set up NA/220whp last summer and had nothing but benefit with being able to carry more speed in the turns from the improved traction and I didn’t find the car to be under powered from corner exit at all. Mind you I am running one of the lightest 17" wheels ( RPF1) so total package weight is very similar to stock ap2, but this car driven correctly provides plenty of power to make use of the wider rubber.
