215/245 might work. 225 on the front would almost certainly rub.

I had a 225 on a 18x8+45 on the front and it did not rub wiht a 1.5 inch drop it was very close but did not rub.

Key point the Tire only had a section width of 9.1 inches once it was mounted on the rim.

Most 225 end up having a section with greater than that of 9.1.

I'm looking into a pretty rare set of wheels right now... sizes are:

17x7 +45
17x8 +45

225/245 tires? could it work without too much modification? or would fender rolling be required?
everything should be goood to go, u can also run those tire sizes as well, i beliebe the fronts may be pushing it, but i think it'll be okay.

Here is a fellow S2ki'er with 17x9's +45 on 255's all around.
(penguin, will gladly take down if asked) Soo soo FLUSHED! lolz

some of you might think it looks weird beacuse they stick out a little bit, but since I work at a nissan, toyota drift shop, I LOVE IT. I've been around nissan's toooo much
How did you make that work? My rims are +48 offset front and back with 255 at the rears. On bump, it rubs but not to the point that it scrapes a piece of my tires. More info please!

+52 is a lot better than the +45 that was asked about. You should be ok.
