you can run a 949 rim 17x10+73 in the back with a 275/40/17 with out even rolling the rear fenders. With a roll and tab relocation you can run a 295/35/17 or a 295/30/18 on a 11to 11.5 inch wide rim with a 60to 63mm offset.

Which 275 tires though?

I currently have ce28 17x10+70's with 255 rs3's which are pretty close to the original fenders. I wouldn't mind a 275 in the back but would hate to be the guinea pig.

Nick has the same set up you do. He runs a 255/275, however his fenders are rolled front and rear.
