Wider track tires/wheels require realignment?
I'm looking at getting some dedicated track wheels/tires for Christmas. I'll stick with the AP2's 17" wheel diameter, but go 225 fronts, 255 rears. I'll also follow the stickie's wheel width/offset guidance. Do I need to do an alignment each time I switch back and forth from stock streets to track shoes? Right now I'm just doing HPDEs, but may want to do some TTs in the future.

Iv asked this question before and got both answers. But the one im sticking with is this. When they do an alignment they align it according to the hub, not the actual wheel. Just what iv heard, not saying its fact.
If anyone else has any other info let me know

Yeah, I believe they take the wheel off to do the alignment to begin with, but I've always heard that it is recommended to get an alignment done every time you change height/wheels/etc.

Changing wheels/tires doesn't (can't) affect alignment settings.
If you may be competing, consider putting the race tires on the stock wheels. In Showroom Stock classes rules usually require stock wheel diameter and widths and offsets within ~5mm.
