Widen rpf1 17x11.5 +63 295/35/17 kumho xs

These tires are discontinued. I found a tire shop that has 4 of there tires sitting in storage. So I bought all four. I'm preying that kumho will keep this size with there new v720 tires. Or when I run out of these tires. I will have to run over fenders and move to a 315/35/17 tire. Or widen a set of 18x9.5+38 rpf1 to 18x11.5+63 and run 295/30/18.
But I really really hope kumho continues to make a 295/35/17. If you this about it this is the perfect size for the s2000. It's a 25 inch tall tires so it won't throw the speedo off. And it's the perfect width to completely fill up the wheel well under the rear fenders with out going wide body or over fenders.

Where did you find the tires? Did they make more?

Not sure I understand how this works. I thought offset was from the centerline of the wheel to the face. How does widening the wheel in back of the original centerline change the offset? Reason for asking is that I am considering a set of wheels that is 17x7.5 +30. Obviously, they won't fit. However, if they can be widened to the correct offset, might be worth buying as opposed to paying for all that fender work.

For example.
Your 17x7.5+30 is actually less aggressive than the common size of 17x9+45. Meaning even though your off let is lower than a common 17x9+45 rim, your rims actually are sticking out 4mm less than a 17x9+45 rim. That's because your rim is not as wide. If you were to widen only the inside of your 17x7.5+30 rim by 1.5 inches keeping the outside the same your rim will become a 17x9+49.
A few more examples for you
A 17x10+72 is more aggressive than a stock 17x8.5+65. The 17x10+72 stock out about 7mm more and has 30mm more rim on the inside as well.
When you widen the inside of a rim keeping the outside the same distance from the body you are increasing the offset by half of the amount you are widening.
