Why was S-03 speed rating changed from ZR to YR?
I bought S-03s about a year ago when they were first released. The speed rating then was ZR. I have just received new rears and the speed rating is now YR. Why was this changed? Anyone?

ZR means max speed rating 149 mph or greater
Due to new euro laws, and the crazy cars that they can drive at full tilt in germany, they needed to know how fast a tire can go before being damaged.
YR means max speed is 186 mph, and i guess ZR now is 186+....

Bassem is correct except Z is still 150 mph and up. Because there are cars that are stock that can exceed 150 mps they had to test the tires further. lawyers got involved and the tires had to be tested to the limits to know what plus actually is.

Do you guys like your S-03's? I find mine track like crazy on our grooved freeways, and it makes the car harder to handle as a daily driver. They do seem much better in the wet than the S-03's.
