Who's Rear tires only last around 6-7k miles?
Just a little background story for those who care...
Running UK alignment, lowered on Espelir.
At 60480 miles, I switched to Falken FK452, the rears lasted me 11k miles.
At 71439, I bought another set of rears, this time they only lasted 6500 miles.
So what has changed during this time period?
Since getting the 2nd set of rears, my car became a weekend warrior. So everytime it gets out it gets driven more aggressively. Before, I was commuting with the car (on my 1st set) doing a lot of highway driving.
So for those getting only 6-7k miles from the rears, I'm wondering if its b/c we are driving on them more aggressively whereas those getting 12k+ are driving mostly highway miles like I was.
Either that or my alignment has gone terribly bad since the 2nd set, which could be a valid reason.

What are your alignment specs?
I dont drive hard at all and my tires are only gonna last me about 15k km max. Even wear.
If you have alot of toe in, then it could cause the tire to scrub alot and still wear evenly.

It can be alignment and driving style. The car is always going to wear rear tires quicker than the fronts no matter how you drive it though. Running the least amount of toe in on the rear is a good place to start.

I might be able to get 8,000 out of my Rear Star Specs. But I don't drive agressively on the street, I keep them properly inflated, and My alignment is not agressive (UK). Not bad considering I have an HPDE, and 5 Autocrosses on them, plus all the daily driving duties.
