Just want to know if anyone has bought 4 front S2000 wheels dedicated for winter tires. Meaning, front wheels and tires are used in the back. Allows for seasonal rotation.

Pictures and comments please!

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fronts and rears wont fit. If you put the fronts onto the rear, there will be a small gap between the hub and the wheel. Some A..hole at Pep boys swithced my fronts and backs......result? My front and rear tires almost fell off while driving!!!!!!!!

From what I understand, there is no technical problem installing the front wheels on the rear. In fact, if you get a flat rear tire, you're supposed to put the spare on the front and move the front wheel to the back. But the hub centers are made so you can't put the rear wheels on the front. Unless you work at pep boys, evidently!

I use these:

All 4 wheels are the same - 16 X 7", 44 mm offset. However, I run the stock size of snow tires. So 205's on the front (Goodrich Winter Slalom), 225's on the back (Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-01). The front snows are identical in width to the SO2's. The rears are slightly narrower than the SO2 rears. Needless to say, I don't rotate my snows.

Hmm... not bad.

I have four 205/55-16's from my TL (Arctic Alpins) that have only been through a couple seasons.

I guess what I want to see is the offset appearance when the front wheels are mounted on the back.

What I might do is get two front wheels, mount two snow tires, and put them on the back and see. Then I can decide to buy two more front wheels, or two rear wheels like stock.
