Default Where to buy 17" SSR GT1s??

Besides Tire Rack (I don't want to wait until the end of June!), where can I buy these? Also, I've read that the offsets of the GT1s imported by Tire Rack are not 'ideal' for the S2K, but that SSR does make a custom offset for the S2K. Where can I get those??

I have the SSR GT1 in stock currently in 17X7 and 17X8. You just have to stay conservative on the width of the tires.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

Jim, by staying conservative on the width of the tire, will this get around the rubbing problem experienced by the guy in this post: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=77067

???

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I may be in this exact boat soon. I'm looking to purchase a set of SSR GT1's with the "not quite so good" offset on the rear.

How conservative do I need to go with the tires? I'd like to at least get some more contact area over stock. Is this possible? Any recommended sizes?

I've read:
205 F, 225R --> does this get me any more rubber on the ground over stock?

215 F, 245R
225 F, 255R --> do either of these fit without rubbing?

Thanks!

If you stay with the conservative tire width you should be fine. You can always run a little more negative camber if you need a little more room.
Let me know if I can help.

Thanks Jim, but I'm trying to get an idea of what "the conservative tire width" is. What sizes do you reccommend.

I've seen old posts in which rick was running 225, 255 Dunlops on the exact set of rims I'm looking at.

On the other hand, I've read not to any larger than 205, 225. Obviously, I'd like to get the extra rubber on the road if I can. I just can't seem to get a straight answer as to what will work.
