Well I have an easy one, I never ran spacers in the past as I was worried about loosing a wheel so I bought new wheels to get what I wanted. Unfortunatly I cannot find a wheel that I like other than the AP2 V1's and I would like a bit more offset. I checked out a set of Project Kicks from Evasive and they were very nice but I still worry. On my AP1 which I retained the stock suspension the 15mm seemed to be the best over a 20mm but I would love to hear some opinions.

As long as they are bolt on you should be ok. Slip ons are another story!!! I had slip ons on my stock studs and the studs stripped and the were only 5mm and 8mm rear.

You might have to consider longer wheel studs. I've heard of wheel bearing failure occuring under those cuircumstances.

The Project Kicks bolt on and have new lug nuts. Wheel bearing failure is possible though wheels with larger offsets would be just the same.

Yeah, I know but I am still weary

I have been secretly looking into a set of BBS RGR's, but the tire selection is not great and $3,650 is a rediculous amount of money to spend on wheels and tires. Unless I was competitvly racing I cannot justify that kind of money with no benifits other than looks.

Check out RB motoring's site. They have a bunch of BBS wheels that aren't too expensive.

A quality wheel spacer will not cause an issue. Once it is done right with either longer studs, or bolt on version like above.

I however do not like the above one as there is no hub to help center the wheel, which can lead to vibration issues.

I recommend the H&R spacers, however the smallest bolt on (DRM) system they have is 20mm.

edit:

Please be aware that in the above post the incorrect front H&R p/n is listed.

Fronts should end in **65700
Rears should end in **65640

Also p/n's indicate total axle width increase. If you go this route make sure you get the correct parts

How bad are the studs to change on the S? If I do spacers i would like hub centric, but H&R seem to be the only ones that are hub centric. I have changed studs be for and with an impact and air hammer it is an easy job if you can pull the studs straight out the back without disassembling the upright.
