Default Wheel Recommendation

I'm having a hard time deciding on a new set of wheels. I'm looking for an affordable 17inch wheel (although 18s are a second choice), at least 9 inches wide, with an offset of 40-50, the lighter the better. While I love some of the vollks (17x10+45 CEs!), advans, I don't want to pay that kind of coin new. Will be fitting proper size tires (ie. at least 245s on a 9 inch wheel). Non staggered preferred but ok with a stagger. Prefer a concave or wheel with a lip. My fenders are rolled.

The reliable RPf1s fit my needs but I've never been fully sold on its looks. I kind of waver back and forth.

I was thinking maybe the NT03+m but its 40 offset is going to be tough to fit in the front with 255s (minimum on a 9.5 inch wheel for me).

Any suggestions?

What's your budget?

Wedssports TC105N (17x9 +49)
Enkei PF01 (17x9 +48)
Kosei K1 TS (17x9 +45 16lbs - check out tirerack and type in 2007 Subaru WRX STI to see this wheel)

You don't like your TSWs anymore? Seeing your BB in your sig actually helped me decide on getting a set of gunmetal Nurburgrings myself. After shopping around for two months, they are pretty the only wheels that fulfill all the criteria you mentioned. Moreover, I've been getting nothing but compliments ever since I put them on. I couldn't be happier (except maybe if I got my hands on a set of bronze 17x9s).

Spectre, that's good to hear. Glad you like them.

As for me, I still like them. Its just that I rolled my fenders so I'm running spacers on them. With rolled fenders I would prefer something with more of a concave look or lip. I guess I want a more aggressive looking wheel.

TC105s dont concave until lower offsets (+35 i believe). The other two suggested wheels I just don't like the look of.

I was also considering a set of these below but am unsure of how a redrilled wheel will be durability wise. They are 18x9.5 +50. I love how concave they are.

Gah I had a brain fart and missed your concave and lip criteria.

i looked into the VMR wheels as well but all the reviews on other forums had them flaking clear coat....and they are only avail. in 18s
do you like the Forgestar f14?? its cheap, concave/meshy-ish
i still think i am gonna go after the tsw's myself even though i have hard time with the "TSW" stigma....they do look good, proper size, and "rotary forged"...better than cast

I considered the forgestars a while ago but I heard bad experiences ordering from them since the wheels are custom spec'd and made to order. The custom specs at 340 per wheel sounds like a good deal though. Any body have experience with the forgestar f14s?

Thinking about running:

F: 18x8.5 +38, 235/40/18 (regular concave)
R: 18x 10 +42, 265/35/18 (+42 on a 10 inch wheel is the highest offset available for the deep concave face).

i dont think you can run a 265 on a 10 +42,......
the guys with 17x10 +45 ce28s are only running 255s.....???
is deep concave available in a 9.5 +50ish???

It will be tough but i think its doable. Tire relative to fender its the same as running 255 with a 37 offset. Currently I'm running 255s on a +43 off set with no issues. Maybe ill have to go 255 then . I just hate the stretch tire look.

Thats the smallest width highest offset for the deep concave face. Look here:
