Default Wheel question for the Xperts

hey all,

hope i created this post properly, this would be my first.

Was looking at a set of moderately priced wheels:

18x8

Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3

Offset: +45mm

I was planning on maybe using these for the front and rear wheels with either a set of 225 / 40 / 18 (front) and 245 / 40 or 35 / 18 (rear) tires.

I know this isn't the ideal set up, but was wondering if this combo would still work well.

THanks for the help.

ps. i guessed not , but would a 255 / 40 / 18 tire fit on this wheel (8")?

They will work with 225/40/18 in the front and 245/35/18 or 255/35/18 in the rear. You might have to roll your rear fenders though depending on your height/dampening/alignment settings.

p.s. Are you Indian? Punjabi?

It shouldn't rub as long as you run the Euro Spec alignment.

I would look at the 225/40R18 and 245/35R18. The wheel is not wide enough for the 255/35R18. Even with the narrower tire you still may have to roll the fender lip depending on the specific tire.
If I can help with the tires let me know.
