Default Wheel Locks. Lost Key. I think they are OEM locks.

So I am the 4th or 5th owner, and I lost the wheel lock key. I have the VIN and know the original Honda dealer (which is 5 hours away)

Are all the OEM keys different? How can I tell if mine are OEM or Mcguard? Will it work if I call the dealer with the VIN?

I think the locks are an aftermarket accessory, which means I doubt if they are tied to the VIN number or not. I could be wrong, but the one way to know for sure is just to call the Honda dealership and ask them. If you could call the dealership that the car was purchased from that would be even better.

If you take it to the dealer, they have a master key and can get them off if they are OEM (which are made by McGuard I think)

You can also pound on a socket. The kind that have a bunch of "teeth". You'll ruin the socket and the lock though.

or if you have a mig/tig welder. weld a 17mm or larger bolt to the lugnut and then you can use a 17mm "whatever size bolt" socket to open it.

Most auto parts stores sell special sockets to remove wheel locks. They work like the above post states. Hammer them on the lug, remove the lug, hammer the lug out of the removal tool. You can use a socket, but you won't get the lug back out after hammering it on. I think the tool is 15$ for a pack of 2 sizes.

FYI, I think mcguard (the brand honda sells) only has like 6 or 7 key choices. My cars "miraculously" use the same lug key...

I went through this about a year ago. Went to my local Honda dealer and they ordered me the master I needed after they checked which of the 5 design options I had. Its a simple process.

Apparently OEM wheel locks are 6 point stars? Mine are 5 points so not OEM?

Take a pic of the wheel lock, straight on. I have a couple, could put one in the mail for you of it is right.
