Not every company that makes Forged wheels uses "mold forging" process like RAYS does. HRE is an example that uses "machine forging" process which is exactly how these wheels are made.

I'm aware and also wouldn't buy HRE wheels

These specs all fit too:

CE28N 17x10 +44
TE37SL 17x9.5 +40 require a 5mm spacer
CE28SL 17x9 +45

Today, I completed that project with a lot of lazy procrastination in between the time I started the project. I have proof of concept on my own brakes. The info-sheet done up for Work Wheels that I posted a long time ago was for the Spoon calipers, HOWEVER, it proved to be only a cross section of the middle of the caliper, and did not cover all the areas where clearance would be an issue. I did some reverse engineering and now have a printable PDF to scale, that can be cut out and placed inside any wheel desired to test fitment.

If anyone here knows how to post a PDF here, please PM me, and I will make this template free for public use. Secondary verification would be appreciated as well, as I'm the only one who's verified its proof of concept.

Where can I download the template?

There's a separate thread titled "Spoon caliper wheel fitment template" and it's attached there.

I saw that the only 9" wheel on the list that fit without spacers was the TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63 and I had the chance to buy a used pair from LeeC's parts so I figured I'd double check if this wheel actually fits.

Good news it does, but I'd say there is max 2mm of clearance here. You are only able to get 7 full turns of the lug nuts with these wheels so if you want to add a spacer to these for more clearance you need extended studs.

Just checking here (My search-fu is weak and I'm not a trusting soul, I've got a set of the SW388 17" in S2000 spec (17x8.5 +60) and they are advertised as Spoon monocoque caliper compatible.

Does anyone have any real world esperience?
