Anyone know what size spacer I will need for having Work VS-XX 17x8 +30 front with spoon calipers?

with spoon SW388 +35 rims there is a very little clearance, 1 mm I think... caliper heating can reduce that clearance?

Is it better to put a little spacer (3 mm), or there will be no problem??

With my OZ Ultraleggeras 18x8 +48mm, I had 1mm of clearance too. That made me really nervous (because of caliper expansion) so I got a 3mm spacer. I wouldn't roll with just 1mm of clearance man...that's just too close!

anyone have pictures of the 17x9 +40 CE28's w/ spoon calipers? how much clearance in between the wheel and caliper?

yes- you have to cut a little off the dustshield. It is no problem with a dremel.
