I'm looking for a set of beater wheels for the winter that will fit over these calipers. So far, the "best" option I've found is the Drag DR-31 17x8 +35mm wheel (Discount Tire sells it). That's from sending Mountain-man's template to the manufacturer to verify (thanks Mountain-man!!). Anyone else have any luck finding some cheap wheels (<$150/wheel) that fit?

You can add 17x8 +37 Advan RZ's to the list that are confirmed to clear without spacers...clear by a credit card, but the calipers are in there!

What about Enkei PF01 and TSW Nurburgrings? I thought those were cheap and may fit.

Enkei NT03 18x9.5 +40. would these fit over Spoon calipers? I know Evasive's 2009 car had spoon with similar wheels just do not know the offset.

hello, I have a stupid question

today I fitted my spoon calipers, I've got SW388 +35 / +45, all was ok but... If I had a puncture on a front tire, what I have to do??? the spare tiere of course can't fit, and I can't use a rear tire (+45)

Unless you want to buy a random front wheel that fits to use as a spare (maybe rpf1 because they are the cheapest on the list) you will have to have the car towed and have a new tire put on. You shouldn't use the rears to replace a damaged front- spare tires can only be used on the front.

OK folks, I answered my own question here...

The Drag DR-31 17x8 +47mm clear the Spoon calipers by about 3-4mm. These wheels are cheap (about $130 each) so they make a good winter setup (don't care if they get messed up).

My ce28's 17x10 +50 fits. 1mm clearance, so I run a 5mm spacer.
