If your lowered without a roll its gonna be close. I have a 17x8+45 front with a 215 tire and its pretty close and I am dropped baout 30mm. You could run a 215 and "might" be okay without a roll but wqith just a simple fender roll you would be fine as long as you stayed with a 215 or maybe a 225 tire.
I am currently running 17x7.5 +35 up front and those clear just fine I think... but my new setup is a 17x8 +42, and I was just seeing if anyone knew whether or not these would clear spoons.

Just to update this:
Prodrive GC07 17x8.5 +54 offset (unconfirmed and waiting to test fit, just waiting for damn stinky tofu!)
^This will clear a spoon caliper
