I would stick to the 225 255. Pay attention to the tread width as many 255's are 9.5-10 inch wide so they are perfect for a 9.5 inch wide wheel.

The fronts would need to be the 225/40R18 and I would go with the 245/35R18 or 255/35R18 on the rear. You are going to need a little negative camber and the fender lip roll and you should be good to go. If I can help with the tires let me know.

Does anyone go 235 or 245 in the front and is it still a good set up with having 255 in the rears? I have 9's in the front and 10's in the rear, I want a bigger tire for the front and not sure if it would be good to go bigger than 225 in the front with my set up

If I could go bigger in the rears I would but I can'tdue to how low I am.

I run 245/40/17 front and 255/40/17 rear. 9 inch wide wheel in front and 10 inch in the rear. I like it but with your wheels specs you would need more camber in front than it sounds like you want to run.

I am running 18x8.5 +48 | 18x9.5 +48 (almost same setup as you)

Bridgestone Potenza RE760 | 235/40 - 265/35

Rolled Front and Rear with a bumper tab relocation. Depending on how low you are, your offset is 6mm more out than mine, may require a little more work.

-1.9 in the front (Kind of low, sitting right above the tire) | -2.9 in the rear ( One finger gap height )

I guess what it really comes down to is how much you are willing to do to make the combination you want to run fit. Negative camber and rolled and or pulled fenders will allow you to run much wider tires and lower offset wheels. If I can help with anything let me know.
