Wheel Gurus: what would i need to do...?
Front: 17X8 +35
Rear: 17X9 +42
To fit wheels in that size on stock ride height/suspension? By that I mean what kind of modification to the fenders and what not would I need to make? Truthfully, I'm not too concerned with being "hellaflush" or anything like that, I just really like the wheels, and they're very rare and thus its likely the only size I'll be able to find. As I said, I'm not looking to make them look "hellaflush" I just want them to fit and not look stupid.
Also, what sized tires could/should I put on them?

Those sizes will fit very easily, especially at stock height. You can go lower and still have no issues with them.
Front:
225/45
Roll fenders, camber at around -1.5 degrees.
Rear:
255/40
Roll fenders, camber at around -2.5 degrees.
Hope that helps! Pull the trigger on those rims, you'll have no problems with them.

Yea a roll won't really do anything because you will be flush if not poking a little with the edge of the fender. At stock height you shouldn't rub much if at all, but lowered you will for sure rub
I also don't think camber will do much, if you lower the car you should definitely run some camber with that setup

You guys are sure this will work? All the threads I've seen asking about wheels with the same sizes/offsets people have said they will not work without major modifications...
-2.5 doesn't look stupid does it? I'm not familiar with the numbers enough to know exactly what -2.5 looks like...
And you guys don't think they'll poke out or rub and need the fenders pulled?
What about if I got aftermarket wider front fenders? Would that look better? Or are these wheels not aggressive enough to warrant that?

most people looking at similar specs for wheels have lowered cars which is why they need extensive modification. I can tell you from personal experience that IF you lower your car those specs will not work without either/a combination of A) really skinny tires B) a crap load of camber (way more than 2.5) or C) pulled fenders... I had 1.5 degrees of camber in front and 2.5 in the rear and rubbed a crap load with wheels that were: 18x8+46 and 18x9+44 .... My car was very low (about a 1 finger gap). Once I raised the car to about a 2-3 finger gap I almost did not rub, anything higher than that and I probably would almost never rub, since you are at stock height I doubt you'll have issues. The fronts will stick past the fenders with 225s since my 18x8 +46 was pretty close to flush. The rears will probably poke a bit too at least with 255s.

Personally I think any wheels will look bad without the car being lowered
You should search the gallery for S2000s at stock height with wheels... You can get your fenders pulled or you can just run wider front fenders/rear over fenders... I think it looks cleaner to get your rims pulled and may end up being cheaper too.

-2.5 degrees of camber isn't noticeable at all. The next picture shows -2.5 degrees camber in the rear. (With a 17x9+44 and a 255/40 tire, practically the same as your rear rims)
According to the (http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp) offset calculator, the 17x8+35 fronts with a 225/40 will poke out as much as 17x9+45 RPF1s with a 245/40. The following pictures are of a 17x9+45 RPF1 with a 245/40 tire.
As long as that offset calculator is correct and isn't misleading me (you never know), you should be fine, lowered or not. The fronts will be fine, wider front fenders would be over kill, and rear overfenders will be too. The rears will poke out maybe 3-5 mm, but a little bit of camber would remedy that. You should try searching for RPF1 non-staggered setups in 17x9+45, or maybe non-staggered 17x9+44 Work Emotion CR Kais. Both setups are fairly popular, they are 99% similar to the rims you are asking about in terms of how much they poke out of the fenders, and you will get to see what modifications / camber were needed to make them fit at various heights. Personally I'd lower the car 1.5 inches, run -2.5 / -3 camber, relocate rear bumper tabs, and use the tire specs I gave you.

Personally, I wouldn't go less than +45.
The lower offset you go, the skinnier tires you have to go with.
