Default wheel cleaning

Just wondering what product(s) do people use to clean their wheels?

I have used Sonax but wasn't to impressed especially for the price. Now I use this stuff.

It works ok. I have painted wheels so I think the gunk sticks to them better than a polished or powdercoated rim. So I still have to get in there with a rag or something to clean them.

You'd have better luck in Wash & Wax. I also use Sonax.

thanks for the options just getting some new buddy club wheels for summer driving so want to keep on top of the cleaning as i know brake dust can be a pain on wheels if left.

Which i found out with my OEM 'winter' wheels took a lot more elbow grease and cleaning product than i would have liked last time i cleaned them.

moral of the story, clean them regularly and use the right product.

+1 for Sonax. Just make sure you wash it off really good.

I used Sonax and truly loved it. But then I realized I was spending somewhere around $10 PER WASH cealning my wheels with it... I go through about 10-12 oz of cleaner (whatever I use) per car wash.

I switched to the Mother's foaming wheel cleaner. Most importantly to me is that it's a neutral pH

Works good. I don't actually like the foaming part but doesn't really matter lol. And it doesn't do the 'cool turn purple color' thing but hey, it works damn good imo.

I also used this a while back and I think it helped by making it easier to clean my wheels.

I need to do a full detail of my car and reapply this since it has been months since I did it last.

Poor boys makes a good wheel sealant or go more expensive and last a long time get 22ple wheel protectant will last a very long time both will makes cleaning much much easier for as long as the protectant is on (I don't have to use a cleaner just mild neutral ph wash soap and detail brush and rinse when protected)

I'll check those out. My car needs a full detail badly. It's just never nice on the weekend.
