Wheel balancing weight question
I've noticed there are no wheel weights on the outboard side of the wheels.
Do the weights mount on the centerline of the wheel?
Are the weights special in any way?
Thanks

On alloy wheels in general, the correct wheel weights to use are the type that are taped on to the inner circumference of the wheel. Assuming you have stock wheels, if you look through the spokes you should see a few taped on weights.
If weight is required, it's usually in at least two locations: 180 degrees apart, and positioned with some of the weights on the spoke side of the wheel and and some on the open side of the wheel. Take one of your wheels off and you'll see it quite clearly. If you can find a tire shop that removes the tape after removing the old weights (when rebalancing is required), then I would never go anywhere else.
When I have the wheels off for other reasons, I usually take the time to clean the inner part of the wheel and remove the remnants of the tape. I use brake cleaner and a plastic scraper to remove the residue.
