Default Whats the deal??!

I want me car to look its best, so i am thinking of getting 18's. But i hear from people its bad, handling is bad, its bad in the rain..... What the best (safest) way to get good looking tires, but wont kill the handling.
thanks!

I'm not going to talk about what you want about the safety, just a suggestion for a first timer. Ever heard of a Lowenhart wheel on outside of a wheel? There are these wheels that mount on the outside of the original wheels and when you slow down or stop the car, the wheels on the outside continue to move and stop after about a minute by friction. I've seen these wheels on tv but never in real life. I hope you can look more into this. I don't know what the exact type of wheel is but it is made by Lowenhart.
Click here to look at the wheel. I don't know which one though, maybe all of them have the outer wheel. E-mail that site for info.
