What's better than falken azenis rt-615k's
Are they the best bang for the buck? Considering another tire but not looking to spend more than 40-50 bucks more per tire.
I have the rt-615's not the K version right now which from the reviews I read make them EVEN BETTER. Is there something BETTER out there?

I had the RT-615Ks - much different (and a large improvement over the old compound). That being said, they are still slightly pricey. Instead of going with them, I now have Star Specs on the car. I was tempted by the RS3, but they weren't available when I needed tires. After hearing that the RS3s don't last very long, I can't in good conscience recommend them unless you are competing.
The RT-615ks were very close in durability to the Star Specs. Some speculate that Falken replicated the Star Spec compound. The Star Specs also have a stiffer sidewall/shoulder than the Falkens, it was immediately evident when I backed out of the driveway.
They are very good tires and I don't have anything bad to say about them. They also worked surprisingly well in the wet.

RT-615's used to get greasy when hot. Had this issue auto-xing my focus with them on (yes, yes, I know - focus, but still fun). I wonder if they fixed this with the 615K. I would do the RS3 or Star Specs - I have Star Specs on mine, but she does not see winter!

there are not any tires that will handle better than RT615 for that cheap. just saying now if you double that, RS-3 is best bet. 3 times your budget, get start specs. 4 times your budget, and get RE-11. but with that budget in mind, nothing.
