Just wondering what other people are running. Not really into RPF1s, mainly because I think they've been over done. Trying to see what options are floating around out there, since TireRack's website is crap and you can't search wheels by size.

Please list the wheel as well as sizing. Tire size is helpful too, but I'm mainly looking for wheel options. Thank you!

 

Am running work xd9 in 17x8.5 +42 with a 235 tire and 17x9.5 +38 with a 255 tire

.....I hadn't seen a thread like this, nothing was in the stickies, and quite honestly, a gallery link full of pictures of random builds isn't exactly a great reference for what I'm asking. I don't understand why people act so exasperated when someone seeks information that somebody else may have talked about at some point in the past.

 

Its annoying because the info is out there if you look for it. There are entire threads in the gallary dedicated to specific wheel makers and wheel specs. That's is what the gallery is for.

Thank you for the links. While I appreciate them, why aren't they (or something similar) sticky'd in the actual Wheels and Tires forum? The info may be out there and you may personally be familiar with where it is, but doesn't it make sense to look in the Wheels and Tires forum for info on wheels? The description of the Gallery forum only talks about pics, videos, etc. Just bugs me when people don't feel like talking about things on forums and would rather you spend a bunch of time using the search engines to try and hunt some simple info down. Just seems backwards to me.

 

Because this is not the gallery. There are thousands of wheel options and it would be impossible to catalog them all in one thread. What is stickied is the wheel and tire fitment thread since you can run any wheel so long as the specs of said wheel work on the car (and even then if you look at the hellaflush thread fitment is a very relative term). In short this is a technical forum about the specs of different wheels and tires and the Gallery is for pictures of cars and not for discussing specific specifications. The reverse of this would be posting a thread about what the engine tolerances are in the gallery. Yes there are pictures of engines and people may have some specs in their build thread but for an actual technical question you need to post it in the right area.

The best place to start is to find the thread for the color of your car. Like I posted above there is an Offical thread for every color S2000 and even one for crazy non OEM colors. Find your color thread and just click through it. You will not only see tons of different wheel options but different ride height, body mods, parts etc. That should help you narrow down what kind of wheel you like even if it is just a general style.

The reason I and others get annoyed at this is because this information exists in huge amounts and by posting a thread like this is just looks lazy. Yes a forum is for asking questions but when the question is so general and there is already more pages and pictures than one could view in a lifetime it begs the question of did you even look at all before asking?

 

...Alright, anybody else want to share their wheel setup in a verbal, non-pictorial way with sizing info? Your input is much appreciated.
