Anyone? im going to be ordering the rims today, and buying the tires from tire rack....

I think you want a 215/45/17 for the front and I'm not totally sure about a 245/40/17 for the rear, you will possibly have to run a little extra negative camber or roll your fenders to keep those from rubbing on big bumps, or if you lower.

To those that have "up'ed' their size to 225/45 and 255/40, has there been much of a noted difference due to increase in tire ht., the effect of a 'shorter' gear if you will ??

It is only raising the height by 1/3". Nobody is going to feel that.

I have one other question, and this is one for jim. The rims i want(the Rota Slipstreams) arent available through tire rack. Is there any way to special order them? The main reason i ask is that i need them mounted and balanced before they get here. Since i have an s2k and my wife has a miata, its going to be hard to get that done.
