Default What slotted/drilled rotors would you use?

What slotted/drilled rotors would you use on your s2k?

I'm a daily driver, not a track runner or anything of the sort. Not looking to replace any existing brake system, etc. This is about SHOW w/o hurting OEM performance.

What would you do? Pics would be great if you have them available.

Here's a pic of my car FYI. Thx in advance for your input.

I plan on purchasing the "Power Slot" rotors from TireRack this week. Great price and I've heard only positive comments on these rotors. Also, I have read (several times) that cross-drilled and slotted rotors are not good because they do not allow proper displacement of brake heat.

I drive my S hard at times but it is also my daily driver and I can't stand seeing rust anymore on the OEM rotors. These "Power Slot" rotors are supposively the best to resolve my issue.

BTW, these Baer's look amazing but I was told by a TireRack rep that they would not be available until late Summer.

Thanks airgate - I love this site!

I just started to look into these things so the part about drilled AND slotted I was unaware of. I'll check with Tirerack but what are you seeing as a the price for front and back?

Is it just me or does the picture not make the above rotors look that shiny? My point is that I'm also considering getting a set from TKT at IAP. If you look under the Florida Forum and find a thread on Powder Coating (there are several but the one with a few pages) you'll see a pic of his yellow s2k with Work Meister s2rs and his slotted/drilled rotors. They look incredible and I have the same rims as you can see.

We have the Power Slot in stock at 96.00 each rear and 109.00 each rear. They are cadium coated to resist rusting and have a vey nice bright silver finish.
We do carry the Brembo big brake kits as well but you are looking at 2494.00 for the front only. If you are not tracking the car the only benefit is they look great.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

I read something on Stillen at some point in time. I believe they have a rotor designed to be used with the S2k callipers. You have to get thier new pads with this too. I think the rotors sell for around $250-$260 a pair.
