Thumbs up What size tires? 17X8 +44 all around

I am wondering what would be the best size tire setup to go with. Currently I have my front tires stretched to fit on the 8" wheels. I am running oem tires 215's in the front and 245's in the rear.
My rears are basically done now and looking for new tires. This is my daily driver and I don't track it.
Should I still go with 245/40/17 tires all around since the wheels are non staggered? Or would it be best to still keep a staggered tire on a non staggered wheel setup to keep them oem handling? Or would the 245 in the front help out with grip and handling?

I've got 17x8 +45's all around, not dropped yet, but awaiting coilover install this week...

I'm using the stock ap2 sizes ( 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 ). I don't think 245/40/17 would fit under the front without a lot of rubbing if the car is lowered, but I'm not positive.

Yeah that would suck. Def don't want to rub in the front.
I also have a slightly modified UK alignment. I have -1.3 camber in the front so will help it not rub a little bit.

yea, i'm crossing my fingers that UK alignment for my car will be enough to get the fronts to not rub since i'll be slamming the car somewhat.

I was just in the crazy offsets thread and there's a picture of 17x8.5 +42 offset all around on 245/40/17 in the middle of the page. Lawhaze is his member name. Maybe you should PM him and ask him what needed to be done to fit that in it.

I don't think they are going to fit without rolling the fenders. Even the 225/45R17 is going to be tight.

Ah damn. Don't you have the pull the fronts not roll? or am I mixed up on that one. I have the 245's on the rear already which are fine. They only rub when I hit a huge dip going fast. i have -2 deg camber on the rear which helps.
