What kind of offset can I get away with?

Default What kind of offset can I get away with?

Lots of wheels I like have 40 to 42 offset. Will It be ok with 18's? I had some before that rubbed, I don't remember what the offsets were.

The 40 and 42mm offset is really too low. There isn't any tires in the 18" that would work with offsets this low.

Thanks Jim. I am starting to lose my mind! I just want a nice wheel with a litlle bit of a lip, that won't kill the wallet.
