What happened to SSR?

Whats the deal with SSR rims? I heard that they had gone under, and weren't producing anymore rims.

Does anyone have a lead on finding some SSR comps or GT7's in 17"?

They did go under and were then purchased by Tanabe. They are still being sold under the SSR name. Tire Rack has them available for sale again.

So then what is the deal, did they discontinue the appropriate offsets for the s2000? Why are the comps no longer listed for the s2000 at tirerack?

gruppe-s.com has a ton of offsets.
