what do you think of these tires?
So i just recently bought an s2000 and the wheels that came with it were Geostar(1) and Remex rx-615(3). 205/55R16 and 225 50R16 on stock ap1 rims
I am wondering are these good tires at all? ive never heard of them but the guy who sold me the car says he replaced 2 of the a month ago.. All are relatively new. He mentioned its a newer company but he didnt seem sure.
my more important question is will they work for me in the winter? or should i be looking to buy something else?
(i guess if i do need to buy some tires, might aswell try to find a pair of used AP2 wheels with good tires for sale. let me know if anybody knows anyone selling the wheels and the tires)
cheeers

As far as winter use, I recommend true winter tires on a second set of wheels, or AT A MINIMUM making sure your tires are all-season rated by googling the tire, and trying to find the specs. I cannot comment on those tires as I have never heard of them, if I had just bought the car, the fact that i don't know what they are and that they dont match would lead me to change them

im runnin pirelli pzeros, and they seem to do pretty, well, i dont know much about the ones you are runnin. Bronxbomber brings a good point for finding tires that are rated for the conditions you are looking for.
bronxbomber, congrats on your commission im in the NC ANG good to run into fellow airmen, fly fight win

What I think: these tires will be barely adequate for normal daily driving in the dry and will SUCK in the wet and in any other conditions. Even if they are labeled as "all-seasons", they will be next to useless in the snow.
One day the Chinese may make excellent tires. That day has not arrived...
Get some real performance tires. If you need tires that will work in the snow, get dedicated winter tires as suggested by bronxbomber.
