Yep. Get price quotes from both. Remember Tire Rack charges shipping and DTD includes shipping in its tire prices. Then call up your local tire shops and see if they can match or beat it if you want. Most of them will be able to get Bridgestones.

Sadly no discounts that I know of. I go to tire rack or discount tire direct depending on which tire and who has it and what price is best.

Another vote for the rack and dtd. Dtd will have free shipping and tends to have rebates running a lot. I shop both. Lately though Tire Rack tends to have the better deals on the tires I am looking for. If buying wheels there it is nice because they include mounting and balancing and any extra hw you need, like hub centric rings and lugs.

I love everything about Tirerack. The main issue is that someone has to mount the tires which keeps me from regularly buying from them. Unless you can do this yourself or have a hookup, no shop is going to cut you a break on mounting fees when you bought the tires somewhere else. With as many tires as most of us go through, get familiar with a local shop and you will likely come out ahead. I have a friend who works for Discount Tire and they always come out cheaper with everything included.

Check Tire Rack's list of installers in your area. My local installer will beat TR's price (by $1 ;-) but I don't pay shipping and I get the customer price for mount/balance instead of the "you walked in here with new tires from someone else and want us to mount/balance them?" price.
