I know they can ship them to an installer and the tire shop near me I trust would have ordered them from tirerack and had them shipped in for me but, at the time I had the funds for tires but not another 80-100 to mount them right then. I went ahead and bought the tires and let them set for a month or so just so I didn't decide to do something stupid and blow the cash lol..

It just baffled me that they thought they knew more about tires than Honda...

Also according to walmart 17in rims could be had from the factory on the 00-03 who knew.....

Has anybody tried to neatly outline the outer rim of the wheels with painters tape before taking them to an installer like Wal Mart? They installed staggered tires on my AP2V2s in the oem size, but marred the wheels a little. They needed to be repainted anyway. I am getting 255s in the rear soon and I'm not sure if they will mount anything but oem size.

Walmart by me said they won't mount on aftermarket wheels since they can't promise they won't scratch them up when mounting lol.
When I had stock wheels I went to have tires mounted. The guy was driving my car onto the lift and stalled it. He then asked if I could drive it on since he didn't know how to drive stick yet!!
Needless to say I took my tires and car and left lol.

Probably so if they are stupid enough to put the wider tires in the front. I am certain she has no clue what oversteer is or how it is affected by tire size. I doubt logically explaining why she is wrong would have made any difference in the outcome though.

^^

That's what I did when I went to Walmart. Did the rears first, went back later and did the fronts. They also did a good job!
