Thumbs up Volk Wheels - Wheel Locks?

For those of you who own aftermarket wheels (such as Volk), how do you guys keep them safe? I have a set of the Volk wheels on order, and have a set of the Rays lug nuts ready, but wondering about the security of the wheels as I live in an apartment complex with underground parking garage. Although it's a gated community, it still doesn't offer the same kind of security as an enclosed parking garage. What do you guys use as the mean of locking the wheels? I saw that Hardtop Guy carries the new black OEM lug nuts and wondering if that'll work with the Volk wheels, since the Rays lugs are black.

Any inputs are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Eric

The Volk wheels we carry use a tuner style spline drive lug that uses a toll to take them off. Without the tool you would be safe. So they do function as a lock. We have locks for a lot of the other wheels we carry.
If I can help let me know.

OEM wheels/lug nuts have a spherical interface, where the lugs tighten against the seat in the wheel. Almost all aftermarket wheels/lugs have a 60deg conical interface. IOW, as a general rule you can't use OEM lugs with aftermarket wheels, or vice versa.

Thank you guys for the good info. I guess my only concern is that since the aftermarket lugs are relatively common for aftermarket wheels, and it would be rather easy to gain access to the tools if they know what kind of wheel lugs they are. Looking at the Rays lugs I have a bit more, it seems like they include a set of 4 "locks" with the package, but they seem to be useless as the locks have a small ridge which can be defeated with the same size socket. Here is a picture, the right one is the "lock":

Would something like these work, since the Acorn model has the 60 degrees interface?

Thanks

The lock you have pictured is 7 sided.

yes, the locking nut is 7 sided. I lost my key and tried to get the lug off without any luck. I would like to see a thief do it.

I tried a smaller socked hammered over top and a multi point bit and the lugs just stripped since they are aluminum and soft.
