Default Volk TE37 vs. Racing Hart CP-035

Which should I go with and should I go with 17's or 18's?

depends on if you want more of performance or look?

i prefere 17 but either one looks good on our car.

i had cp 035 rims before on my other car. now i have te37. i like te37 look better. more classic looking

Only 1 reply, nobody has any opinions on these two wheels. What about throwing in the BBS RGR and the SSR Competition.

I have the CP-035's and I don't think they look that good, but they are light. I think the Volks are a good combination of good looks and low weight. The BBS RGR look the best to me but I don't think they are that light. SSR Competition look pretty good and are pretty light, but I don't think they are as strong as fully forged wheels like the Racing harts or Volks.

Either Volk TE-37 or SSR comps would be a winning choice. I would go with 18s. Although they are not prime for performance like the 17s, the 18s look better.

Where can I get a good deal on the CP035's and what offsets would I need for a 17?

Be warned about the Racing Harts, I went thru 3 sets and couldn't even get them delivered to me without them being out of round.

Partially it was packing, there was no give in the boxing and every set came flat spotted from UPS banging them around.

Partially it was their supplier, they finally discovered their supplier was unable to deliver a round barrel. That problem might have been corrected by now, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I loved the look but not only did I have problems with delivery I also had problems getting them to replace them. I spent 6 months and still don't have rims to fit.

IF you buy the Harts buy from someone who has them in stock and spin them on the balancer before taking delivery. If you want I can send you video of mine being spun. It is outright scary!!!

I can confirm David's story. I would say out of the two choices. Go with the Volk TE37.
