Default Volk TE37

I've been looking through which rims I want and I love how they look. Do they still have TE37 in S2000 specs like in 17x7.5 + 50 and 17x 9 +63. or which size/offset would fit for stock specs

I've been researching up on offsets but I still don't really get them. Would someone give me some advice on how to go with the setup I want. I want to get Te37 stagger setup and a size that won't rub. If I get a stock spec and in the future I want to drop it 1" will the stock spec effect the rubbing when I drop it 1".

They do not list a 17x9 +60 but you could go 8.5 +50. Shouldnt have any rubbing issues when lowering 1".

Basically offset is relative to the width of the wheel. This means that a 17x7.5 +50 and 17x9 +50 are not going to stick out the same amount. The number given for offset is the distance from the center of the wheel to the pad where the wheel bolts on. A positive number means the pad is closer to the outside edge of the wheel, while a negative number means it is closer to the inside edge of the wheel, and a 0 offset would mean its dead center.

here's a tool you can play with to visualize

The conservative setup would be 17x7.5 +48 (F), 17x8.5 +50(R). You might be able to get away with not having to roll your fenders with an one inch drop.

Can't you order TE37s in any custom size you want, practically? I would be shocked if you coudln't get standard S2000 sizes in these wheels. It might be worth making a few phone calls and talking to some of the wheel vendors.

No you cannot order them in any size you want to my knowledge. I think there used to be a 17x9 +63 but that may have only been CE's.

so this would be the best setup at stock height with no rubbing issue at all?.

With those at stock height it should not rub. If you lower it you will want to roll the fronts at least.

Had a chat with vividracing. They said they don't make 17s anymore for TE37. They only offer 17s on the TE37 SL. Sad that i cant order them anymore

Do not buy from vivid racing. They are a terrible shop and they are banned from here for a reason. Ask Rosario about vivid. Order from ravspec or evasive or one of the other vendors on here.
