call a friend to bring you a spare ?? LOL ... what if its the middle of the night ... what if he is out of town ? .. thats a pretty silly idea ...

why ditch the donut ? its not like its taking up space in the trunk .. and ill take the extra weight for piece of mind that if i get a flat .. i can change it on the spot rather then having to possibly annoy someone to go get it from my house and bring it to me

I'm actually looking for a full set of stock lug nuts as well, but from Honda they are 6.39 each and a place called Roadside they are 3.69 each...is there any place cheaper??

AAA Gold FTW! Seriously I have not carried a donut since 2000 when I realized that if I had a rear go flat I'd have to change 2 tires (Donut tire CANNOT be put on the rear). I do a lot of road trips, so I need every inch of trunk space (I'm married ). I carry a can of fix a flat and a compressor for a dire situation where I might not be able to get hold of AAA for some reason. In 7.5 years and 110,000 S2K miles, I have never had to use the fix a flat or AAA. (knock wood)
