Volk LE-37 Set Up W/Brembos
im planning to get a set of Volk LE-37's 18x8.5 with offset 40...wondering how would the rims look on the car...would it stick out a lot also if it will clear my 13" Comptech Brembo's (which is my main concern) anyone know..? thanks

my roomate is running a 7.5 with 36 offset and he rubs just going straight

i think most volks are 7.5's on the front with 48mm offsets... you are going a full inch wider and using a 40mm offset.... that is sure to rub.... spoon wheels used a 35mm offset with a 7inch width..... they rub if you lower the car and hit any dips.....
Doesn't sound like it is worth it to me.... not sure what works with spoon calipers...besides spoon wheels.... (get the 45mm front offset if they work with the calipers)

Two ways.
1. run the 18x8.5 front +40 and ride on a 215x35x18 tires. But you are stretching that lil tires a lot by putting it on a 8.5" wide wheels.
2. run 18x7.5 front +50/ +48 and run on a 215x35x18 tires with 8mm spacers to clear the Brembo brakes.
