Default Volk EVO IV 17x7 and 17x8 45+ offset

Hi all,

Just wanted to clarify tyre choice to avoid rubbing on about approx 2.5" lowered.
Currently on 18x7.5 35+ offset with 225/40/18 all round and have hit both front fenders at low speed

Volk EVO IV 17x7 and 17x8 45+ offset

Im thinking:

Front 17x7 45 offset with 215/45/17

Rear 17x8 45 offset with 235/40/17 or 245/40/17??

Any help would be great...

Stay with the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 and add a little negative camber and you should be fine.

wow please get rid of those, the Volks will look 10000000x better... you may rub just a little with those but add camber and you'll be fine like Jim said

You should test fit them first to determine how much camber you would need.. I had 1.5 in the front and 2.5 in the rear... if you are slammed I think those should work

Thanks for all the help guys.. got the rims on... lifted the font a little and no rubbing.. got a slight rub on the right rear on bumps but will get it sorted when I get a UK spec alignment.

When with
215/45/17 on 17x7 +45
245/40/17 on 17x8 +45

UK Alignment Specs:
front castor 6.45
front camber -1.0 (maybe -1.5)
front toe 0.0
rear camber -2.0 (maybe -3.0)
rear toe 0.20 total 0.40
