I've never had 255/40-17 Toyo RA-1s on CE28Ns rub in the rear, in about 12,000 track and street miles.
The 235/45-17s up front did rub the fender liner, although only under fairly extreme conditions (elvation change + high G turn + steering input). Tucking the fender liner above the fender has stopped that.
