Default Volk CE28 vs. LE28

Anyone know if there are any differences in the construction between CE28's and LE28's? I thought it was just the polished lip, but somebody told me that the LE28 have a forged center that is welded to the cast barrel, making them heavier. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanx in advance.

Dino

No difference other than the polished lip, both forged monoblocks.

Yes. It's actually a machined lip and they even came with CE28 stickers.

Got a confirmation from Mackin this morning, they are the same construction aside from the diamond cut machined lip.

No, I am pretty sure only the CE, TE, and RE are forged monoblock. All of the GT and SF series are 2 piece wheels.
