I would recommend 215/40 18 front and 245/35 18 rear.

You can run 225/40 18 fronts also but try to stay away from 255/35 18 rears.

You think he'll rub with 255s and a 1.6" drop?

I get my wheels/tires in today with 255 rears on about a 1.2" drop, so I guess I'll see if it's going to rub later on.

That's why I recommend 215 front and 245 rear to be safe but certain brand of tires are physically skinnier for a 225 so it can get away from rubbing.

No rubbing to speak of for me, running 225s up front and 255s in the rear. Tires are Falken Ziex's

i have the BF goodrich G force T/A tires on same wheels. I run 225/35/18x7.5 front and 255/40/18x8.5 +47 offset rear with 1" eibach spring drop. I have s serious rubbing issue with my rear.
What is wrong with this set up? What should i do?

heard that some Toyo's are thinner.. but I'd check the tire specs (tirerack has most of them) to compare

the fronts should be 225/40/18 and the rears should be 255/35/18
if you got a 40 series in the rear the tires may be way too tall and also the brand of tires bf goodrich i'm sure isn't a rounded sidewall like some falkens etc.....

maybe like mill out the wheels or run camber
