As the title states. I was wondering if the new Yokohama DB S2's with the sizes 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 would be okay?? If not then please let me know what sizes are common. The Volk Catalog says to run 225's in the front and back for a S2000 but that doesnt seem rite. I need help!!

You Volk rim side should be 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 rear to best fit 225 front and 255 rear.

Which rim you have in mind?

They are a new style(cant say right now) and they only have the 7.5" and 8" available rite now. I didnt even check to see if they had 8.5"...I will call them rite now to see if they have it. But 8.5" isnt too wide??

Make sure they offer +48 front (Minimum) and +50 Rear (Minium) for best fitment on 7.5 and 8.5 width.

+48 rear may be not enough. You might have rubbing issues if you go with 255 rear and lower your car.

my volks are 18x7.5 f and 18x8 r with a +49 offset all around running on 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 with an inch drop.

very very minimal rubbing issues. only happens when there's a large dip in the road while i'm taking a turn really hard.

Thanks bro that what I was looking for. I am not sure how low my car is gonna be. I got the prototype Tein Flex kit coming in, in about a month and a half. Their tech is gonna tune the kit so whatever he says goes(shouldnt be lower then an inch). I hope I dont rub.
