Default Victoracers for a street tire? Anyone?

I'm interested in buying a set of Victoracers for autocross purposes mostly. But this means buying another set of stock wheels and swapping wheels every other week. That just seems like a lot of work to me. I'm considering running the Victoracers as my street tire. I don't drive the car everyday. Mostly weekends. I've put 2500 miles on the car in 5 months of ownership. I autocross about 15-18 times a year. Is it reasonable to consider these tires for my only rubber? At the rate I'm going, the stock rears are going to be gone by 10,000 miles with the amount of autocross they're seeing right now (2X monthly). Has anyone here used them as a street tire? How many miles did you get? Are stone chips an issue? Experiences or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I drive them to and from the track, ~200 miles each way. The wear is probably as good as it gets for a tire rated at 50, which is pretty rapid wear. They are also very poor at handling standing water and probably close to worthless in mud and snow. I think the Toyo RA1 may be a better candidate as a R rated street tire.

For what you are going to use them for I would suggest to take a look at the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups. They will last 2 to 3 times longer and can handle a little rain and the street driving is no problem. It is a much better option.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

I you are looking for a R compound tire you can Auto X on, I would probably not go with the Michelin PSC. They take too long to get any heat in them for Auto X purposes. Shaved RA-1's or an extra set of wheels with Victoracers and a Dalan hitch might serve you better.
