Default Varrstoen 2.2.1

Getting a set of Varrstoen 2.2.1 wheels for my s2k

Need some help to verify before I place my order what offset would work best for what I'm looking for.

I will be running ASM rear over fenders and 30mm+ wider front fenders.

I don't want a "hellaflush" or stretched tire setup nor do I want to run massive amounts of camber.

I will be getting the 18x10.5 rear and 18x9.5 front: What is the best offset to be able to run good sized tires on there like 285 rear and 265 front, or something that fits the wheel very well. I'm looking for a concave look

The car in this link is running +30 all around but only using 225 tires, do you guys think the +30 offset will work well with my setup and I just run the wider tires I'm looking for?

This car is running the same size with +12 front +15 rear

those widths you need to be in the 35-50mm offset. rolled of course. search around, there are people on here with great offsets that work.

I think you need to be in the +30 offset or higher even with the overfenders. You should be able to get at least 255's in rear and 245 in front. Of coarse it would be better if you ran 265 or 275 in back and 255 in front judging by the wheel width. Another option is running the 18x9.5 all around with a 255 tire on all 4.

They get wheels with a much higher offset. Like the 17x10 +70 volks. Anything is possible with the right offset and wheel.

Front: 18×9.5 +30
Rear: 18×10.5 +30

This is what the car in the link I posted above is running, whats the widest tire you guys think I can run with a +30 safely?

Like I said you can probably fit a 275 in the rear with a 255 in front. I do not have this set up though I am just doing off what I have seen and read. Did you look in this thread at all?

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/809...page__st__2000

I am sure you could do through that and find someone to ask more specific questions.

what side wall size are people running with a 275?

Tire calculator says best fit for stock is 275/30/18 for the rear but no one makes that tire size only 275/35/18

Since we are in this topic already I don't see a point in opening a new thread, at the moment my current set up is 235/45/18 fronts and rears 245/40/18 . I was looking into getting the same wheels and a shop near by has them in 18 9.5 +30 all around, would this set up work with my tires? I'm not looking for anything cammbered/hellaflush I just Want something to sit even is +30 offset not enough or should I worry about going to a 8.5 rim, so far I have the fronts and rears rolled. Thanks in advance

Tires would be stretched even slightly for the 245.

The higher the offset the more the wheels sits in the well. You can run a 9.5 but I would say +45 to 50? Cause 265 fits square on a 9.5. You would still need to do -2 to -3 camber in the rear with those offsets but that really isn't a lot. I wouldn't go anything lower than a 9 aftermarket on a S. Stock is 8.5 AP2.

Thing with Varrstoens is that they don't like s2k offsets w/o fenders last I remembered. Whole point of running those instead of VOLKS is because they come in much aggressive sizes/offsets
