Default Two tire blowouts in a week!

I just bought my used 05 s2k a month ago. It had 9k miles on stock tires. Last sunday, I experienced a right rear tire blowout on a major highway at 60+ miles per hour. And yesterday, coming back from California to Las Vegas, I blew out the right front tire at 70+ mph. WTF?!?! Are the stock Bridgestone Potenzas known for this. The tires blew out along the sidewalls. I am worried, so I am going to replace the remaining tires today....

Thoughts?

Nothing wrong with potenzas, *used* take them off and look. 3 yaesr is the limit or well beyond for most of these cars.

That shouldn't happen... what tire pressures were you running?

A 2 psi difference is not going to blow your tires.

It's possible you might have hit something on the roadway to cause your blowout.
