And I wouldn't worry about rubbing wheels on the control arms unless you spend a lot of time at full lock. Normal every day driving you'll never get close.

Again, what are your goals? If you're just wanting the looks, I would go with stock sizes & consider price options more.

My advice and advice from others is performance oriented, specifically to get more grip all around. And the nurburgring is a light weight wheel, so it seems like you're building a performance set-up... But if that's not at all what you need, than you might be spending too much and not be satisfied with the changes made.

For maximum track performance, when a tenth of a second counts big-time? Yes. Otherwise, not necessarily...

Best for what usage? For street, or even street/track-day compromise, I'd stick with staggered. It just feels better. You will lose a lot of the light/sprightly-handling feel if you go to 255s all around with a big front sway bar. You will gain *some* marginal lateral grip, but will have to change roll stiffness distribution (bigger FSB) to exploit it.

Depending on your wants/needs/usage, 255 fronts might be warranted, but it doesn't sound like it to me.

Mainly for street usage and the occasional track usage. I want the nurburgring mainly for the looks.

See my sig. I run 17x9+63, 255/40 all around. Did hit lca under full lock which does happen quite a bit (making u-turns, ocassionally from backing out of parking spacers). A 3mm front spacer solves this issue.

Okay so I've finally decided (thanks to everyones input) on the 17x7.5 +45 and 17x9 +63. Will 215/45 and 245/40 tires still work with those wheels? If so, what adjustments will there be? Thanks a lot.

That should fit easily. You might consider 255/40-17 rears, which are more of an ideal fit on 9" width, but 245 is a good fit also. You'll have TONS of clearance in back. It will be closer to the fender lip up front, but I doubt it will be an issue, and if by chance you did get minor rubbing you can dial in some negative camber. But I'd be surprised if that were the case.

Yeah, I will probably swap to the 255/40-17 in the future when my current tires are worn out. Thanks for all the help ZDan!

I just bought a set of the nurburgrings. The matte bronze is on back order. But get the gunmetal!! It looks lighter on person. It's a sweet wheel. I went with the 17x7.5 17x9 +63. That's the perfect size. It looks great
