Don't buy the car if you cant afford the tires. The ultimate cost of frivolity like lawsuits of tire wear is passed on to the consumer.

just a quick tid bite, porsche 911 turbos come with pirelli pzero asometricos and and on avg the rears will last you about 15-16K miles. you have to factor in the part that it is an awd car so not all 415bhp is being put down on the rears. and by the way porsche is very clear about this when you buy the car.

About the only thing you can put on the car to last longer is the all season performance tire. The tread life will still not be real long but i would guess another 30% longer life. Be prepared for less handling though.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

The TSB, iirc, says nothing about Honda giving anyone new tires. It is merely an advisory that if a customer should inquire about tire wear, that it should be explained to them that this is a performance car with performance tires and a performance-tuned suspension, do not expect to get 30,000 miles out of a set of the OEM tires. Or something to that effect.

Wow, all this chit-chat yet nobody has mentioned what brand of replacement tires they are putting on their S2000.
I am at 10000 miles and my fronts are toast on the inside - I'm ready to replace all 4 tires....any suggestions?
My car originally came with the Bridgestone Potenza's.

Thanks
Doug
