I'm running 17x8 +37 225s all around on stock height and have no problems at all..completely stock fenders. my tire size is small, but I'm just thrown this info out there.

I am running 17x8 +50 with 235 in front and 245 in rear lowered on swift Spec R. No rubbing whatsoever even with hard auto-xing yesterday. You could run 245's on this setup all around and not rub. 245's on an 8" wheel will give you a slight crown, but again for DD and auto-x, you will be fine with this setup.
