Default toyo t1r OR Kumho MX

I am torn between the two tires. the toyo proxes T1R are $100 more shipped to my door than the Kumho ECSTA MX. but then the toyos have better tread wear, 280 vs 220.
which one should i get? which is the better performer in the dry and wet. also, which one has a stiffer sidewall?

the sizes i will be getting are as follows:
(F) 225/45/17

I have T1r's and love them. Don't know anything about the Kumho's.

I can get T1Rs for about $550-$600.
They are great tires - I'm not a big fan of kumho, but from what I hear, the MXs are great tires. I think the Toyos are a little more versitile - much better wet traction.

If it was between the Toyo T1S or MX, i'd say MX. The T1R is much improved - stiffer sidewalls, great wet traction, and they can definately hold their own in the dry.

MX vs T1R... T1R. Although your decision has been made

...useless post by me

Have you considered the Hankook RS-2's?
