Torn between Dunlops DZ101 or Hankooks V12 tires
#11
It's hard for me to imagine a worse max performance summer tire than the v12 evo. They are absolutely awful. If you want to ruin the performance handling characteristics of your car, they're a sure fire way to do it. They have crappy grip with enormous amounts of sidewall flex. Just my 0.02.

When it comes to tires it's all about personal preference.
I just ordered a pair of dz101 to replace my current dz101 rear tires that are now bald. Not a bad dd tire. They suck in rain and are okay for the 1 track day I did.
I was going to get the rsr but they've been sold out there for the past few weeks and for a few more weeks.

Given the two options I would go with the V12 as well. Car and Driver did a test here and it was rated number two over all. Bang for the buck it is a good choice. If you are looking for auto cross there are better options. If I can help let me know.

I was strongly considering getting a set of Hankook V12's in that sizing until I found a super cheap set of Continental Extreme Contact DW's on s2ki for sale. I would recommend the Continental's because they will have superior grip wet and dry compared to the two.

I got the V12 evos for my S while im DD'ing it. I am very happy with the tires, they perform well in all conditions, have a very comfortable ride, are very quiet, and weather doesnt phase them. When I bought the car they had toyo proxes R on them, and these tires seem all around better than them, with the one exception, the weak sidewall. Performance wise, these tires stick very well, and gives you more of a feel like they are glued to the road. However you can feel the sidewall flex on turn in, which gives you a slight heart attack from time to time. If you can get over that, I would recommend them.
I am putting over 500 miles a week on my car though, If I only drove the car on weekends, and never in weather... I would go for the RE-11, or ZII
